Farmacia Celina, located on Avenida El Llano in Valle Gran Rey, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is a well-established pharmacy that has been a trusted healthcare provider on the island of La Gomera since its opening in July 1996. Founded by Celina Chinea, the pharmacy initially started with just Celina and her cousin, Mercedes, working together to offer essential services to the local community. Over the years, the pharmacy has grown significantly, now employing a dedicated team of nine people, all committed to delivering excellent service and personalised care. 

Celina’s passion for pharmacy and healthcare was nurtured from a young age, as both her father, Randolfo Chinea (Fito), and her grandfather, Manuel Chinea Rolo, were respected doctors in Valle Gran Rey. Growing up in a household where medical care was an integral part of daily life, Celina developed a deep interest in the field. Her grandfather’s emergency medicine cabinet, which was always well-stocked with various treatments, left a lasting impression on her, shaping her career path in pharmacy.

The pharmacy’s offerings are wide-ranging, providing everything from beauty products to health and wellness solutions. It stocks a variety of skincare items, including facial and body products for acne, stains, and anti-cellulite treatments, as well as organic cosmetics and sun protection.
