Founded in the summer of 1969 by Vicente Cervera Jarava, the pharmacy at Plaza Asdrúbal, 5 in Cádiz has built a long-standing tradition of excellence in patient care. Initially located at number 8, the pharmacy quickly earned the trust and affection of local residents, with Vicente and his assistant, Francisco González Flores, becoming a trusted healthcare resource for the neighbourhood. In 1997, the pharmacy moved to its current location at number 5, where it expanded into larger, better-located premises, allowing for enhanced patient care and an improved overall experience.

In 1999, Vicente Cervera de los Ríos joined the team, bringing new ideas and innovation. One of the significant milestones during his tenure was the complete renovation of the premises in 2010, alongside the automation of medication dispensing, modernising the pharmacy’s operations. In 2013, Vicente Cervera Jarava retired, passing on the business to his son, Vicente, who remains the owner and continues to uphold the core values of the pharmacy. Under his leadership, the focus has expanded beyond simply dispensing medications to include comprehensive pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and patient education, ensuring the best health outcomes for all clients.

Today, the pharmacy is a bustling hub of healthcare, supported by a team of five professionals, including two pharmacists, a pharmacy and parapharmacy technician, and an assistant. Their combined expertise ensures that the pharmacy continues to offer high-quality services while adapting to the ever-changing needs of its patients.
